Our "Night At The Museum" movie night was a great success! We had tons of munchies and lots of laughs as people came in their favorite historical figure. We had Joan of Arc, the Virgin Mary, and Annie Oakley to name a few visit us. Pastors Lance and Marci won for their version of American Gothic and Sarah Cook won for her costume of Annie Oakley. Dave was our popcorn eating contest winner with Angel and Carrie right on his tail. The movie was full of laughs and it made us all feel like one big happy family.

The Oakcrest Manor Nursing Home received a mini facelift this month. Thanks to the generosity of Skinner Nurseries and the hard work of Manifested Faith. Skinner nurseries donated all the plants, flowers, and potting soil. They were so generous that they gave Manifestd Faith a truckload of materials to beautify Oakcrest Nursing home.
Children ranging from 2 years to 9 unloaded flowers and dug in the dirt to make the outside area of Oakcrest more Spring-like. Adults directed and helped plant flowers such as Mexican Heather and Daisies into large pots outside. To bring a little of the outside in, Manifested Faith brought in Asparagus Ferns to brighten up the nurses station and cafeteria. Lavender plants were given to the patients that were bedridden so that the aroma would create a more relaxing environment for them.
Afternoon snacks were distributed by the Pastors and members along with hugs and prayers for those who needed it. It was truly a blessing to help those who can’t help themselves.

We had a great "Facing The Giants" movie night. The food buffet consisted of buffalo wings, popcorn chicken, queso, chips, dips, to name a few. But the most important thing was the gathering of fellow believers and joyfully watching a movie that makes us proud that we are on the winning team of God!
